
Anna Pieri
BIO
Anna Pieri is an Atlanta-area theatre artist. Holding both an MFA in Acting from University of Georgia and a BFA in Theatre Performance from North Dakota State University, Anna has emerged as a dedicated artist, pursuing a career in acting, directing, and theatre education. Anna has a passion for arts-events planning and fundraising. She spent three years coordinating the Student Spotlight, part of UGA's campus-wide Spotlight on the Arts. She was honored to be chosen as the speaker for NDSU's Winter 2013 Commencement Ceremony.
Anna has a passion for devised theatre, obscure scripts, queered perspective, and physical theatre. Her training encompasses Stanislavski, Meisner, Michael Chekhov, Alexander, Linklater, LeCoq, and Laban.
Anna most recently served as a guest artist at UGA, directing The Tall Girls by Meg Miroshnik in the Cellar Theatre, tickets to which were nearly sold-out.
